This year we get The Who during the corporate john half-time show at the corporate john stadium of the Super Bowl next weekend. I just watched their "The Who: At Kilburn" DVD set and the technical problems outweigh their performances, even if one thinks that they weren't drunk or stoned during it. Anyway, this year, they are going to perform but again I won't be watching. And last year as well as this year, it's a tire company that's playing the role of the hooker in this movie. What is it about these johns that makes 'em think that because they sponsor the half-time show that I am going to buy their stuff? This is not the same as supporting a local business that provides uniforms to some little league team. Again, I am not going to buy their tires. Granted, I don't even own a car at this point, but I do remember these things and when the time comes to have to buy tires, their name will be off the list.
