Here in New York City, as you can imagine, we have a few people. Ok, we have a lot of people. And just about at anytime, but especially during the rush hours (notice I used the plural version, as the morning & evening rush span hours), some people think that the escalators going down to the subway are libraries. No they are not. We would all be

So the winter corporate john games are going to Canada next month. I haven't used my visa card since sometime in December 2009 and I won't until the corporate advertising is done. At least for the 2 or 3 weeks they are playing I don't have to worry about any shows on nbc. Granted, most shows I watch these days are on cbs & abc. More

I don't know if I wrote about it already, but the museum went belly-up last year. I guess the economy going into the toilet didn't help them sucker people in at $27 a pop. Oh, I forgot about the new balance issue and recently bought new sneakers. My bad.

This year we get The Who during the corporate john half-time show at the corporate john stadium of the Super Bowl next weekend. I just watched their "The Who: At Kilburn" DVD set and the technical problems outweigh their performances, even if one thinks that they weren't drunk or stoned during it. Anyway, this year, they are going to perform

Once NBC gets past the corporate athletics (there's an event held in Canada this year) next month, Leno is moving back to 11:35 and they are going to be putting regular stuff back at 10pm. Gee, it's been so easy to ignore them with Leno at 10. All I had to look at was CBS & ABC. In March, I'll have to figure on what though? It's

I happened to catch some of Channel 11's (that's the WPIX station here in the New York City area) last night and they were showing 2 reporters with the troops in Afghanistan along with a video connection to a soldier's family in NYC while they (the reporters) were talking with the same soldier. A very nice thing. But then when the station

Now don't get me wrong. I have nothing against Paul. It's just that in a story on cnn (7/15) it talks about his concerts that are taking place in that corporate john's place in queens. And they don't just say the john's name once, no, they say it twice. And the 2nd time cnn gives it a hyperlink so you can search cnn for its other

I don't know if you've been able to get your problem resolved, but if you've fought them and are getting nowhere with them, go to www.consumerist.com and search for Bank of America and then look for their EECB info (that way you can send the executives an email carpet bomb). Hopefully, you will then get an answer and a positive resolution

I am currently watching a virtual tradeshow and they have a multiple choice of webcasts to choose from. That's good. The worst part of it? The host looking at and just reading from the teleprompter. What makes it annoying is that they look to the left and the camera is pointed at them from dead on, so it's obvious from the get-go that it's

Again, if one station does it and they don't get raked over the coals, then other stations start doing it too. What am I talking about? The despicable and disgusting habit of putting permanent on-screen text above and / or next to their station logo (the logo is bad enough as it is). Normally, I don't like to mention names, because then, hey
